Turquoise Collection

The Turquoise Collection is inspired by my deep connection to the coast and the extraordinary turquoise waters of the Isles of Scilly and Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Created in oils using expressive brushwork and palette knife techniques, these contemporary landscapes celebrate the uplifting power of colour, light and open space.

Each painting is a personal response to the coastline—capturing fleeting moments of changing skies, tranquil seas and the quiet beauty of distant horizons. Turquoise takes centre stage throughout the collection, chosen not only for its vibrancy but for the sense of calm, hope and freedom it evokes.

Whether abstracted seascapes or simplified coastal landscapes, every piece is an invitation to pause, breathe and reconnect with nature. Contrasting accents of warm orange, soft violets and earthy tones add depth and energy, reflecting the colours found in the coastal landscape and enhancing the luminous quality of the turquoise palette.
